I have arrived

Arriving in Ottawa

Well I made it Ems. The trip was a bit long, and as you can imagine a bit cramped, being folded up in a letter and all that. But here I am in Ottawa, Ontario. The nations capital. I can hardly wait to go exploring. Whats that? Why did it take me so long to let you know that I was here? I am sorry I didn't call you sooner, but when I arrived here my host was very busy and had to make a trip to Barrie, Ontario. So on Saturday, October 2, 2010 we drove from Ottawa to Barrie.

It was a long car ride, but fun because it is autumn here and all the leaves are changing colour.

We drove through Algonquin Park, however we did not have a lot of time to stop on the way to Barrie. However the next day we drove back and where able to take in a few of the sights.  It was a beautiful, sunny fall day and I finally got a chance to "stretch" my legs!

It was nice to get out of the car and into the fresh air.

Have to be careful, don't want to get wet.





This is one of the many lakes in Algonquin Park. I had to be careful and not get to close because of the wind. 

Well there you have it Ems, my first weekend in Ottawa, Ontario and I didn't get much of chance to see Ottawa! Still it was fun travelling across the province.  Until next time!  Be good.
